Does the development of SNS exert a beneficient influence on human's life? 

 

(SNS = Social Network Service)

 

I have negative thoughts about social network service.  A social network service refers to an application or site that enables building social networks or social relations among people, especially with those who share interests and activities. The original purpose of SNS is really good, but nowadays I think that SNS have forgotten its own purpose.

SNS is a communication space before. On the other hand, people begin to exploit SNS like commercial exploitation or purpose of crime. Crime to use SNS occasionally happen all around the world. In the case of Korea, some of the people actually use SNS to do the sexual assault. In addition, SNS users are steadily increasing, so some people use SNS to public relations.

According to National Statistical Office, they surveyed people age 6 or older  about using SNS in 2013. 67.1% of researchers make a reply that they use SNS in the past year. Above all, 35.8% of researchers use SNS during the week. 

Besides, I think SNS is unnecessary part of a person's life. SNS is totally dependent on sight of other people. When many people post speech on their own SNS, they are always aware of the way other people are looking at this.

There was created for the individual to freedom of expression, but, now a days people distorted maker's intention.  Many SNS user want recognition for others on their posting. For example, some people post a selfie on instagram, then they want to other people bum many 'like' button. To do that, they use a lot of hash tag that have nothing to do with their selfie, (For these people, there is a neologism like hashtag abuser.) In conclusion, I think the use of SNS is waste of time. Of course, reasonable utilization does not matter.

In conclusion, I think people nshould diminish the using SNS. (especially students to study) People must do day job before using SNS. People also don't need to bother other people's sight. We are the  protagonist in our life!

Production and Ownership of Knowledge

   Many people tend to think that there is no ownership of knowledge. Now, as the world enters the Information Age, so we are livng in a flood of information.Therefore, the majority of people tend to have a cheap opinon of knowledge. Copyright law has become increasingly more important. Nevertheless, it is limited to the field of art like movie, music, painting and novel. I entertain an opinion that every ownership is valued, so I want to gaurantee of ownership of knowledge.
   I think that knowledge ownership is very important thing in running a blog.When I wrote last posting about Jeju island, I quoted a passage from the book. Like this, we often used to quote other people's stories when we shold lend credibility to our own  postings. If other people cite my wiriting without source, I will very angry about that. My wirting is based on my own thoughts, because it really precious to me. Accordingly, knowledge ownership has an obligation to protect right.

1) What has the comments others have posted on my blog taught me about my own writing?

Most of the comments want to write in concrete for me. (more specific and more detailed.) Futhermore they taught my mistakes of grammar. I read those comments, then I realize the lack of  writing skills in my posting. Therefore, I can be able to write better than before thanks to those comments.

 

2) What have the comments I have posted on other blogs taught me about writing?

 

I often taught grammatical errors to other blogger. They didn't know about the error, and they just made a mistake. In addition, I frequently expressed approval about their posting. While I read their writing, I study about writing skills.

Jeju Island Is A Fantastic Tourist Attraction

To Travel In Summer

Jeju Island is one of the representative tourist attractions in South Korea. Arccoding to the book 'Bus Travel In Jeju', it mentions that Jeju Island is the most popular place to travel. There are many beaches and our country’s representative Mountain of Halla. Beaches of Jeju are the color of emeralds. In addition, the seawater are clean and transparent. Also, there are many delicious foods in Jeju. A great number of sightseers visit Jeju Island all year around. Jeju Island is always good to travel, but most people say that Jeju Island's summer is the most fantastic tourist spot. I think that summer of Jeju is good for three reasons.

First of all, sea is more clear during the summer. Most of the sea changes color every season. Jeju is blustery at all times. Above all, Jeju’s winter is very windy among others. In winter, seawater is too dark. Seawater of summer, on the other hands, is clear and clean. Accordingly, we can see inside of the sea. It is amazing how the seawater looks different each seasons.

Furthermore, there are many trees and flowers in Jeju, so Jeju has many botanical gardens. (like Yeomiji Botanical Garden, Hallim Park) Botanical garden is good to visit especially in summer, because trees are in leaf. Therefore, botanical garden in summer has a mass of customers.

Lastly, Jeju has many delicious foods in summer. Like the cold raw fish soup, wheat noodles and traditional chicken soup. Besides, there are many kinds of ice flakes with syrup. Most of the food is delicious to eat cold, so hot summer is better than cold winter.

In summary, Jeju Island is an attractive tourist spot in summer. In this post, I limited that season is summer, but Jeju is always a fantastic place to travel. Ideal place to concentrate

 

If I want to focus on work, I will go to café like Twosomeplace, Caffebene, etc. Café is suitable for my ideal place to concentrate.

 

 

My ideal place has three conditions for concentrate. First, there must has a steady noise. Most of people say that they can't concentrate in noisy space. But some people, like myself, need a moderate noise for concentrate like a cafe's noise. In the library, I'm so much the worse for concentrate. I can't attention and I did other things when I went to library. When I can't go to cafe instead of listening to a music in a late night. Because I can concentrate in a noisy space.

 

In addition, my ideal place is clean. I always clean up my room before exam period. Because I don't focus on study in a unclean room. I study and clean a room alternately. Must hold clean near me.

 

Finally, there has comfortable chairs. If I study for a long time, I must need a comfortable seat. In short, I concentrate in noisy, clean and comfortable space.

How does where I live (have lived) influence how I live?

I was born in Seoul. I'm lived here all my life. Most people say that Seoul is congested with heavy traffic and always  overcrowded. But if people are used to living here, they doesn't leave here. Living in Seoul has many merits. First, There is everything in Seoul. I can easily find what I want. I don't need to go far in order to go shopping. Second, Seoul has beautiful view. There are river, mountain, many parks in Seoul. There is Han river's park near my home. I  frequently go to the park. I really like there. So, I love Seoul and I live in Seoul now and for ever.
